Twitter India to stream interviews with business & tech veterans

Twitter India and PING Networks, a video creation and distribution firm are launching a live-video interviews series titled “#MegaBites”, which will showcase interviews on business and technology leaders from the country, according to this IANS report. Veteran journalist and founder of PING, Govind Ethiraj will host the first interview with Adi Godrej, Chairman of Godrej Group today via Twitter’s live streaming app Periscope.  The first interview will be discussed around the theme “Will India Remain A Fast Growth Economy”. Users can interact, post comments and ask questions via the Persicope app as the #MegaBites stream goes live every fortnight. https://twitter.com/govindethiraj/status/780968820324179969 Apart from this, the live show will focus on different subjects around business and technology verticals and will host more interviews veterans and leaders from the industry. Infosys Founder and Ex-Chairman of UIDAI Nandan Nilekani, Founder and CEO of FutureGroup, Kishore Biyani are also planned as the next guests for the show. Twitter and Rolling Stone partnership In early September, Twitter had partnered with music magazine Rolling Stone India to curate live music gigs on the Twitter platform. Artists would go live on Periscope from Twitter India’s ‘BlueRoom’ twice a month. The artists will also engage with fans on Twitter before and after the performance. The channel will be available on #RollingWith on Twitter and features artists like The Vamps, Sandunes, Diving, Nucleya and Dualist Inquiry.
