Online streaming company nexGTv has tied up with YouTube MCN Culture Machine to feature its video content from its digital channels. Culture Machine owns and operates Being Indian, Put Chutney, Blush, Epified, All Access, Awesome Sauce, VIVA Channel, Whack, Old Delhi Films, Rascalas. Separately, nexGTv also acquired the digital telecast rights to UK-based Daehan Drama’s popular comedy web series, ATtheCOUNTER. Culture Machine has a similar deal with YuppTV Bazaar. Culture Machine owns and operates a cluster of channels on YouTube, and while those channels have ads, the company also produces content for clients like Samsung, Ola Cabs, Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance, Closeup, Vodafone, Nike, Myntra etc. It claims to have over 500 million monthly views on its channels which produce content across genres. Other Tie ups with MCNs nexGTv, on the other hand, has been increasing its content library. In July, it launched a separate app for shows called Comedy One. It partnered with ONE Network Entertainment, an online video creator, talent aggregator, branded content producer, for the same. ONE Network Entertainment also tied up with YouTube MCN Ping Digital Broadcast to launch an initiative called ‘The creators collective’ for content producers and creators to become publishers, specially in the comedy genre. In February nexGTv tied-up with #fame to integrate its content on its streaming platform. As a part of the deal, #fame will create and premiere content exclusively on nexGTv before publishing it on other channels.
