CarDekho launches BatteryDekho Auto-portal CarDekho has launched website BatteryDekho, a battery research and discovery portal. BatteryDekho allows people to read about different automobile batteries, compare prices from different brands, compatibility with the automobile and find dealers near you selling a particular battery. The website also contains features like "Ask an expert" along with detailed articles containing battery review, in-depth videos and tips on general and specific battery maintenance. CarDekho had previously launched TyreDekho, a tire research and discovery portal in March, 2015. *** AWS opens an infrastructure region in Mumbai Amazon Web Services launched an infrastructure region in Mumbai served from various data-centres. This is the first region in India and the sixth in the Asia-Pacific(APAC) region. The region is part of the $5 billion investment that it's parent company Amazon has announced towards India. The infrastructure region consists of two separate 'Availability Zones' with independent power, cooling and security. This allows for immediate disaster recovery as well as providing backups in a single region. The Mumbai region Amazon is planning to launch at-least 5 datacentres in India, as reported by Economic Times. *** Shopo reaches 2 lakh sellers Shopo, the zero-commission mobile-based marketplace by Snapdeal has reached 2 lakh sellers on its platform.
