Industry moves: Stayzilla, Yu Televentures and Flipkart

Goibibo’s products director Gopalakrishnan joins Stayzilla as VP products Hotel booking site Stayzilla has appointed Chandramouli Gopalakrishnan, as vice-president of products, reports The Economic Times. Gopalakrishnan was formerly the director of products at Goibibo. He has over 12 years of professional experience with a focus on product management, global team management, customer experiences, product planning and tech negotiation skills. He has been associated with Synopsys and Microsoft in the past. His *** YU makes 3 senior level appointments Micromax’s Yu Televentures has announced three senior level appointments, reports The Economic Times. The company has appointed Bharat Singh Malik as the Vice President of Service, Deepak Dahiya as Head of Sales - South and West region and Chandra Kishore as the Head of Sales - North and East region. Malik has previously been with Samsung and Nokia. His area of expertise lies in setting up service networks, contact centers, central support warehouses and regional support warehouses. Dahiya and Kishor will help the company boost the online sales and helping it to expand its digital footprint in India. *** Flipkart brings back Kalyan Krishnamurthy as Category Management head Flipkart has hired Kalyan Krishnamurthy again, to oversee category design organisation, reports The Economic Times. He is also a  Managing Director at Tiger Global. In his current role, Krishnamurthy will be directly reporting to the CEO Binny Bansal and will help in closing down the slow moving products and unprofitable lines, apart from driving growth in high profile segments.
