Anand Chandrasekaran quits Snapdeal as the Chief Product Officer

Anand Chandrasekaran is moving on from the e-commerce portal Snapdeal, after only working with them for less than a year. Chandrasekaran had joined the company in June 2015 as the Chief Product Officer. Prior to that, he was the product chief at Bharti Airtel. @anandc proud of the super work by you and the product team. Farewell, keep rocking! — Rohit Bansal (@rohitkbansal) May 24, 2016 Snapdeal confirmed this move and said that Chandrasekaran has plans to pursue entrepreneurial interests. In an email sent to Medianama, the company said “Anand has done some stellar work on the product side at Snapdeal.  His insights and attention to detail have helped us traverse quickly towards launching and improving products at Snapdeal.” Snapdeal hasn't disclosed any other details about his departure or about his successor at the company. Snapdeal’s recent moves - Earlier this month, Snapdeal had appointed Saurabh Bansal as the Vice President and Head of Category Management. - In January, Idi Srinivas Murthy had quit the company, after working for less than a year after with Snapdeal as the senior vice president of marketing.
