Revv appoints Chetan Jain as Hyderabad CEO
Self drive car rental company Revv has appointed Chetan Jain as Hyderabad CEO. Jain joins the Gurgaon based company from rival Myles where he was the head of operations for Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. Jain has experience in marketing, operations and fleet and business expansion. At Revv, he will look after expanding operations in Hyderabad and reach a fleet size of 1,000 cars in the next few months. Revv was founded in July 2015 by Anupam Agarwal and Karan Jain.
Icustommadeit appoints Anamika Bist as VP of category management
Icustommadeit has appointed Anamika Bist as VP of category management. Bist has previously worked with Raymond Limited as category head for 1.5 years, as an independent retail management consultant for over 2 years and at various positions at Primus Retail, Jay Gee Clothing and Littlewoods International for over 16 years. She will look after driving revenues and building new categories at Icustommadeit.
IBM appoints Bob Lord as chief digital offier
IBM has appointed Bob Lord as its chief digital officer, reports Re/code. Lord joins IBM from AOL where he was a president for over a year, CEO of AOL platforms for 1.5 years and has previously worked with Razorfish, Publicis Groupe, Prism Rehab Systems, Nova Care and General Motors among others for over 30 years. At IBM, he will look after IBM’s digital presence, operations and ecosystem and run its digital platform, sales and marketing along with the developer ecosystem.
Girnar Software appoints Amit Monga as deputy director of auctions
CarDekho and Gaadi parent Girnar Software has appointed Amit Monga as deputy director of its auctions business, reports VCCircle. Monga will be in charge of building the auctions platform and the team of 70 people. He’s currently the co-founder and CEO at Fitrrati, and also co-founded eSportsBuy.com (which was acquired by Snapdeal according to the report). Monga has worked at Collectibillia, IOCL, Snapdeal and Diamond Management & Technology Consultants among others.
