Sanjay Shukla has resigned as the COO of Percept One, which manages the PR, advertising and events agency Percept Communications. According to the press statement, Shukla joined the Percept Group in 2007 as the national head and was promoted to COO of Percept Activ in 2011. In 2014, he was elevated to CEO of Percept Sport and Entertainment and was the COO of Percept One for 11 months. Prior to this, Shukla has worked at the Wings Group as business head, regional north head, area manager and business development executive for over 11 years. Nupur Mahajan has taken over as the CEO of Percept One and will lead the vision, direction, business development and integration of the marketing communications services at Percept One. Mahajan will look after a team of 500 people across 27 offices in 10 markets. Prior to this, Mahajan worked as the national creative director at Bennett Coleman and Co Ltd (BCCL) for 1.5 years, brand consultant at McCann Worldgroup for the same time, joint MD at Beyond Boundaries for over 7 years, and deputy managing editor for Business India for 5 years. She has also had journalism stints at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Star News, Bombay Times, and the Times Group, along with serving as a brand director at Verve.
