Ola Shuttle for corporate clients Ola Shuttle announced that its service will now be available for corporate customers who sign up via Ola Corporate. This move will enable corporate employees who wish to travel via Ola Shuttle to pay for their ride centrally through the Ola Corporate accounts of their company. Earlier in January, Ola launched Ola corporate, a business solution for companies which would allow their employees to get an Ola cab within a 5 minute ETA. This would operate across major Indian metros and let companies manage a centralised travel system from the companies’ prepaid account. The company says that it has seen over 2,000 corporate clients adopt its business solution. In September, Ola started Ola Shuttle in Bangalore and the Delhi-NCR region and added bus shuttle services to its platform. Ola says that it operates over 100 routes and has 500 shuttles in the two cities. Though, it needs to be pointed out that Ola Shuttle ran in trouble with Delhi's transport authority and had to suspend its operations in December. Ola Shuttle obtained permits under the Stage Contract Act which will allow them to do carry passengers across cities. But they need a permit under the Contract Carriage Act to facilitate intra-city travel. *** Ola introduces Micro category Ola has introduced a new price point for its customers in Mumbai called Ola Micro.
