Industry moves: Lookup, Mosambee, Woo, Jungle Ventures & more

Bangalore-based Lookup has appointed Narayan Babu as its CTO where he will be responsible for technology and innovation at the company, along with enhancing the user experience. Babu previously founded Dexetra along with 5 others, which was acquired by Quixey. In October, the company raised $2.5 million in funding led by Khosla Impact and participation from Catamaran Ventures, Global Founder Capital and Twitter co-founder Biz Stone. *** Mosambee, which provides an mPOS solution, has appointed Ashish Agrawal, CTO of Micromax as an independent member of the board, reports VCCircle. Agrawal will provide Mosambee with advise on scaling nationally and internationally, and aid in third party validations. In March last year, Mosambee raised an undisclosed amount in a Series B round of funding from existing investors SIDBI Venture Capital and Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund. *** Innoviti Payment Solutions has appointed S Subramaniam, CFO of Titan Company, on its board, reports VCCircle. Subramaniam will be a nominee of Titan, which according to the report, holds a 5% stake in the company (as of 2006). He will guide the company’s leadership for finance and operations. *** Dating app Woo has appointed Sanem Erucar and Ritesh Bhatnagar to lead the company’s product and marketing divisions respectively, reports VCCircle. Both will work on new initiatives for domestic and international growth.
