LocalCircles raises undisclosed amount of funding
LocalCircles, a Noida-based citizen engagement platform has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Puneet Dalmia. The fresh funds raised will be used towards LocalCircles’ Social Media 2.0 product offering. LocalCircles was founded in 2012 by Sachin Taparia, Abhishek Gupta, Mukesh Gupta and K Yatish Rajawat.
Power2SME raises funding to expand product portfolio
Power2SME, an online buying club for small and medium enterprises, has raised a new round of funding led by Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, with participation from existing investors including Accel Partners, Kalaari Capital, and Inventus Capital. Power2SME plans to expand its product portfolio across more verticals through its technology platform, and mobile app offering with the new funds. Economic Times reports that the funding round was closed at $20 million. The company founded in 2012 by R Narayan has operations in Gurgaon, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai and Jaipur.
Applicate raises $1 million
Applicate, a Bangalore-based enterprise mobility solutions developer company, has raised a bridge round of $1 million from a group of High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), reports Economic Times. The HNIs include Rishi Vasudev, VP of Flipkart, Amit Gupta, VP of Urban Infra, Rajiv Nayan, director of business development at TCS Canada and Rakesh Mishra of Ravian Pharmaceuticals. The fresh funds will be used to develop their new product Trade Gini. The company was founded in 2014 by Deepak Rewadi and Ranjeet Kumar.
DesignBids raises undisclosed amount of funding
Delhi-based DesignBids, a project discovery platform for architecture and interior design services, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Indian Angel Network (Ambarish Raghuvanshi and Arihant Jain), reports TechCircle. Nithish Joseph Monson and Shreya Bisht founded DesignBids in 2015. The startup plans to use the capital to improve the technology, expand the team, and scale up operations in all the major metros.
CodingLabs raises funding
CodingLabs, a Hyderabad-based platform designed to display one’s coding skills in place of paper resumes has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from 50K Ventures, reports NextBigWhat. The startup, which was established in 2015 allows coders to build an online skill profile for themselves using the tools on the portal while accessing coding challenges in different technologies.
SIFTR Labs raises funding
SIFTR Labs, a Noida-based platform which curates digital images using machine learning, has secured funding from Venture Catalysts (Vishal Maheshwari, Vikas Kapoor, Daud Ali and Nitin Agarwal). A Business Standard report said that the investment closed in at $150,000. The company was founded in 2015 by Romil Mittal and Mayank Bhagya.
