Bollywood content aggregation company Shemaroo has reported new media revenues of Rs 16.64 crore for the quarter ended December 30, 2015 (Q3 FY16). This is an increase of 68.3% year-on-year from Rs 9.89 crore form the same quarter last year. New media revenues grew 5.32% from Rs 15.8 crore from the preceding quarter. Shemaroo’s new media business represents 15.49% of the company’s total operational income which stood at Rs 101.38 crore. In the previous quarter, new media revenues were 16.90% of the the total revenues. Shemaroo's traditional media business grew 15.7% to Rs 84.74 crore from Rs 77.77 crore in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, traditional media grew 9.13 % from Rs 77.65 crore.
