Orahi, a carpooling app, has raised $520,000 from Indian Angel Network, reports VCCircle. The company will use the funding to enhance its tech platform, hiring and expanding operations. IAN investors  Vinish Kathuria and Amandeep Gupta, who led this funding round, will join the board of the company. Orahi was founded by Sameer Khanna and Arun Bhati in 2012 and lets users share rides in cars, somewhat following Ola Share’s community based riding.

Zapr, a media analytics company, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding led by Flipkart, Saavn, Micromax, Dhiraj Rajaram, with participation from existing investors Dinesh Agarwal, Samir Bangara, Sanjay Nath and Arihant Patni, reports ET. It will use the funds for expanding its product range from its current tracking of live-TV viewing users and hiring. The company was founded by Sandipan Mondal and Deepak Baid.

Rentomo, a platform which connects users with renting and borrowing needs, has raised $100,000 from Shiva Ashok and one unnamed investor, reports NextBigWhat. Started by Anshul Johri last year, the company plans to add more categories to its platform, hit 10,000 users in the next 3 months and list 2,500 items. As of now, it claims to have 4,000 registered users, 300 listings and 250 transactions.

Snapshopr, an image search platform, has raised an undisclosed amount of angel funding led by existing investor Amod Malviya, with participation from Pallav Nadhani, Saran Chatterjee, Apurva Dalal, Bragadish Sureshkumar and Sanat Rao among others, reports YourStory. The company will use the funds for hiring, its technology platform and expand globally.

Obino, a fitness coaching app, has raised an undisclosed amount of early stage funding from RoundGlass Partners, reports VCCircle. It will use the funds for product development and marketing. The company was started by Ritu Srivastava, Vishal Soni and Yogesh Sachdeva in August 2012 and claims to have 10,000 weekly users and 500 paid customers as of last month. According to the report, it had previously raised seed funding from Healthstart.

Intercity cab aggregator Roder has raised $240,000 in seed funding from Unicorn Indian Ventures and others, reports VCCircle. Roder will use the funds to expand geographically, product development and customer acquisition. It was founded by Abhishek Negi, Ashish Rajput and Siddhant Matre in December 2014.
