JustBuyLive, which launched operations this month, has raised Series A funding worth $20 million from Alpha Capital, reports VCCircle. The company will use the funds to acquire customers and scale operations. The B2B platform connects shops with brands with distributors, taking out the middlemen while itself operating as a distributor. JustBuyLive claims to have over 25,000 registered retailers and operates in 15 cities. *** RedDoorz, a branded budget accommodation company, has raised an undisclosed amount of pre Series A funding from 500 Startups. It plans to use the money to expand into the Southeast Asia region including Thailand, Bali, Singapore, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. RedDoorz had previously raised a pre Series A funding from Jungle Ventures. The company was launched in Indonesia in October last year and claims to have 200 budget hotels as its customers. *** Moodoo, a meeting planner app, has raised seed funding worth Rs 19.5 lakh from University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School Seed Fund. The company plans to launch the app in India this month. *** Happy2Refer, a referral platform, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Equity Crest, Vinners and Sparknext and other individual investors.
