Vserv has appointed Nadeesh Ramachandran as vice-president of sales, reports afaqs. Ramachandran will be responsible for Vserv’s sales in India and Southeast Asia. Prior to Vserv, Ramachandran led the retail, restaurant and real estate portfolios for Google India for nearly two years, before which he was part of Google's engineering business group as a senior account manager for nearly three years. At the same company, he worked with various businesses across sectors like auto, education, ecommerce and government. Before Google, Ramachandran was the senior brand manager at Firefly eVentures for nearly two years, before which he worked as part of Pratham’s support team in the Northern region states. He has also worked as the group account director at Equus Red Cell, account manager at Everest Brand Solutions, account executive at Equus Red Cell and VP of programmes at AIESEC in Delhi University. Solution for telecom and DTH operators: In May this year, Vserv launched a new commerce solution for telecom and DTH operators which would allow its users to buy data, voice and segmented channel packs through advertisements and complete transactions for the services. At the time, Vserv partnered with Airtel and Airtel DTH to place these ads. Focus on monetization: It’s worth noting that Vserv has been focusing more on helping mobile applications and games monetize and has been offering solutions for the same.
