Licious raises $1 million from Mohandas Pai, Kanwaljit Singh & others
Online meat ordering startup Licious raised $1 million in seed funding from Mohandas Pai, Kanwaljit Singh and others, reports Vccircle. The Banagalore based three month old startup will use the funding for expansion in 11 cities.
Founded by Abhay Hanjura and Vivek Gupta, the firm claims to have served 1,000 orders in its very first month. The founders are in talks with institutional investors for getting more funds. For its services, Licious claims to manage the entire supply chain from processing to delivery.
Furdo raises $400,000 from Bhavdeep Reddy
Bangalore based interior design startup Furdo has raised $400,000 in angel funding from Bhavdeep Reddy, reports Vccircle. Founded in January by Kiran Singh, Ishwar Sundararaman and Arvind Singh, Furdo offers 3D visualization of interior decoration and charges Rs. 10,000 for its services.
Furdo offers services from choosing a design to viewing it in 3D to buying all the products for the design to actually getting it done in the house. The company claims that its USP is the variety of designs it provides.
Virtual Logic raises funds in Pre-Series A funding
Virtual reality firm Virtual Logic raised between Rs 4-6 crore in Pre-Series round A of funding led by Swarnim Multiventures along with 2 high net worth individuals, reports Vccircle. The funds will be used to launch home buying and home customization portal.
Founded in 2006 by Surya Prakash and Sudarshan Ramachandraiah, the company uses interactive 3D tools made using artificial intelligence. It provides an interactive digital marketing platform through which companies can showcase their products in 3D.
The Man Company raises funds from Karan Bajwa & others
Men’s fashion e-tailer The Man Company has secured an undisclosed amount in funding from Karan Bajwa, Amanpreet Bajaj and Manish Vij, reports NextBigWhat. The funds shall be used for marketing and technology enhancement.
Founded in September by Mohit Saxena and Bhisham Bhateja, the Delhi based startup sells men’s grooming products and other essentials and had earlier raised funds from Parvesh Bareja, Dinesh Singh and Hitesh Dhingra. The service is subscription based across 12 categories of products.
GameXS raises seed funding
Online console games store GameXS has secured an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Mumbai-based angel network Lead Angels with Sanjay Krishna Goyal as the lead investor, reports Vccircle. The funds shall be used for talent acquisition, product expansion and to scale up operations.
Founded in 2012 by Kabeer Jain,GameXS is an online store for pre owned console games and claims to offer a one-day pick up service in over 5,000 locations. The company claims to have a customer repeat rate of 50% with over 10,000 sale transactions made so far.
