HOOQ signs content deal with Sun TV Video streaming service HOOQ is expanding its library and has signed a multi-year deal with Sun TV, reports Indiantelevision.com. HOOQ will carry Sun TV's library that includes a mix of films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Singapore telecom operator Singtel launched HOOQ in India earlier in May with plans starting at Rs 199 per month. Earlier this month, HOOQ also added over 1,000 Shemaroo video titles on its platform. Shemaroo would provide movies across genres and languages and will include films, TV shows and fitness videos like Hunterrr, The Dirty Picture, Ishqiya, Don, Shilpa’s Yoga and Bipasha’s Fit & Fabulous. In July, the company expanded its catalog to include movies from Bollywood production house Yash Raj Films. Some of the movies from Yash Raj Films included iconic classics such as Kaala Patthar, Kabhi Kabhi and Silsila along with other movies like Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year and Kabul Express. The 'Donate Now' button can be placed by an organization on their main Facebook page, or be integrated it in adverts that show up in the timelines of users. A report by Mint says that a page's category needs to be set to "non-profit organization" to enable the button.
