Sun TV Network Ltd’s revenues declined slightly for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, by 0.61% to Rs 548.58 crore from Rs 552 crore the last quarter. However, the revenues were up 5.45% from Rs 520.18 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company did not disclose its DTH or advertisement segment revenues for the quarter.

Note that Sun TV mentions the standalone figures for this quarter are the balancing figures between audited figures in respect of the full financial year end March 31, 2015, and the unaudited published year to date figures for December 31, 2014, which were only subjected to a limited review.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 202.99 crore this quarter, a decrease of 5.2% from Rs 214.13 crore last quarter, although an increase of 2.74% from Rs 197.57 crore the corresponding quarter last year. The slight losses reported by the company this quarter appear to be due to it reporting unaudited results the previous quarter.

FY15 results: For the year ended March 31, 2015 Sun TV reported standalone revenues of Rs 2243.62 crore, up 7% from Rs 2096.78 crore last year. The company posted overall profits of Rs 737.23 crore, up 2.82% from Rs 716.96 crore last year.
