PropTiger co-founder Prashan Agarwal quits; additions to leadership team

Online real estate services portal PropTiger's co-founder Prashan Agarwal has decided to quit the company and pursue other entrepreneurial opportunities. It's not clear when exactly this comes into effect. The company has also made several additions to the senior leadership team. Former CEO of Karvy Private Wealth Sunil Mishra has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer. Mishra's LinkedIn profile informs that he had joined PropTiger in April this year. In his new role, Mishra will be responsible for PropTiger's new homes business, including business development and sales & collections, and will be based at the company’s Mumbai office. At Karvy Private Wealth, the wealth management business of the Karvy Group, Mishra played an important role in building the company's wealth management and real estate brokering businesses. Prior to Karvy, Mishra served as the Head of Marketing (Mumbai, Maharashtra & Goa) for Bharti Airtel for about 2 years, and National Head (Revenue Enhancement) at Reliance Communications for about a year and a half. He has also worked at UK-based private equity firm WorldTel and at KPMG Consulting. PropTiger has also appointed former Director of HR at UTi Worldwide Rohit Hasteer as the Chief Human Resources Officer. Hasteer will be responsible for all aspects of PropTiger's human resources, including talent acquisition and leadership development, and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Noida.
