Gaana hacked: Company says only Gaana login details accessed, all passwords reset


Times Internet owned music streaming service Gaana.com has been hacked, however it looks like no financial or personal data besides Gaanga login details were compromised. The hacker, who goes by the name Mak Man and is based in Pakistan claimed that he has access to about 10 million user details. He also claimed that one could get all details related to the user by simply entering the email address used to register on the music streaming service, on this website. However, it seems all data has now been removed from the site. At the time of writing this article, the Gaana.com site is down for maintenance.

Times Internet CEO Satyan Gajwani took to Twitter to acknowledge that a breach had taken place and stated the measures they’ve taken to rectify the situation.
