Godrej's Nature's Basket has tied up with Amazon to deliver the former's products via Amazon, reports ET. Currently, Nature's Basket has added a range of gourmet products to sell on Amazon which it plans to expand in the coming months. Through this deal, Nature’s Basket will be able to reach over 19,000 pin codes in India. The multi-channel platform is also planning to introduce gifting options on Amazon. Nature's Basket's ekStop acquisition In a move likely to give Nature’s Basket’s e-commerce sales a push, Nature’s Basket acquired Mumbai-based online grocery store Ekstop.com in February this year. Although the financial details of the deal were not revealed, the deal was pegged to be valued at around Rs 30-40 crore. In March, EkStop was being integrated into Nature’s Basket’s online business, following which around 100 EkStop employees from HR, marketing and admin functions were reportedly asked to leave, while EkStop’s co-founders Sumat Chopra and Shaurya Mehta would head Nature’s Basket’s online business. Snapdeal tie up In January this year, Godrej Nature’s Basket tied up with Snapdeal.com to make available various gourmet products via the e-commerce platform. Through this partnership, Godrej claimed that customers from over 5000 cities would be able to shop on its platform. Then, the categories included Indian groceries, international groceries, beverages, nuts and dry fruits, confectionery, chocolates and desserts, snacks and dips, spreads and jams. Overall, more than 400 products, such pancake syrups, folic acid tablets, green teas, flax seeds, salad dressings etc. were available on the e-commerce site.…
