The card is expected to allow customers without bank accounts to withdraw money from Visa supported ATMs as well as pay for goods and services where Visa cards are accepted, across the country. In January, digital payments company TranServ had also tied-up with RBL Bank to launch a digital payments suite for both customers and merchant called Shmart!. RBL Bank provides the semi-closed loop prepaid account to store funds in Shmart!.
