Former MakeMyTrip chief products officer Amit Somani has joined Bangalore-based seed-stage venture fund AngelPrime as a partner. Somani had resigned from MakeMyTrip in February last year, after a four-year stint with the company, following which he has continued to be associated with the company in an advisory role on its web and mobile products. At the time, he had informed Medianama that he plans to start his own venture, though he declined to disclose any specific details on this venture.
