Urban Ladder appoints Kartikeya Misra as head of online product

kartikeyamisraBangalore based Urban Ladder has appointed Kartikeya Misra as its vice president (VP) and head of online product, reports Techcircle. In his new position he will be responsible of the overall online product roadmap, including strategy and execution, with the engineering team. His key focus areas will include, internal systems, mobile and storefront.

Before joining Urban Ladder, Mishra was the director – product management at Yahoo, where he was responsible for Yahoo Cricket and other international sports properties, prior to which he worked as a software engineer at Infosys Technologies. Overall he has over 13 years of work experience in various verticals of product development.

Urban Ladder had previously also appointed Manu Prasad as its Director of Brand Marketing, effective from the 3rd of November last year, who will be responsible for the company’s brand marketing efforts on offline and online social media platforms.

Tolexo.com ropes in Harsh Kunda as Head – product & technology

harshkundraOnline business goods and supplies store Tolexo.com, has hired Harsh Kundra as its head – product and technology and as a co-founder. In his new role, Kundra will be responsible for the company’s growth plans including in product and technology domains and solutions that drive business.

Prior to Tolexo, Kundra was the CTO at Jabong.com, where he was responsible for building scalable web architecture. He was also a founding member at Meritnation.com, where he was responsible for product design and management other than heading technology strategy. Overall Kundra has over a decade of experience in managing product and technology at various organizations, especially in the e-commerce field. It is interesting that Kundra has been appointed a co-founder, since he is not one of the founders.

Anushree Ghosh appointed Director of strategic planning for Razorfish India

anushreeghoshRazorfish has appointed Anushree Ghosh as director of strategic planning at its Mumbai office reports afaqs. In her new role Ghosh will be responsible for leading strategy in key businesses for Razorfish India and will report directly to CEO Charulata Ravi Kumar.

Prior to Razorfish, Ghosh was the strategic head – digital at FCB Ulka and has worked at various positions with various agency networks including as planning lead at Law and Kenneth, as the strategic planning director at JWT and as the strategic planning lead – India at SapientNitro. Overall Ghosh has over 15 years of experience in the field and has worked on various brands like Nestle, Smirnoff, Lipton, Lifestyle, ITC, and MTV among others.
