123Greetings ships 0.28 M gifts in Q2-FY15; Revenues up 137%

A massive 223% growth in ecommerce revenues led to revenues for 123Greetings.com more than doubling year on year, up 137% to Rs 122.63 crore. The company Reported its highest ever profit as a listed company, of Rs crore 4:15. For context, for the same quarter last year, the company Reported a profit of Rs crore 0:15. The company shipped 285.270 orders, up from 88.348 orders in the same quarter last year. Its biggest sales day was with 12,000 orders. It also Increased its product portfolio to around 0.2 million, up from 0.123 million. Intrasoft added 137 new vendors, taking the number of active vendors to 1018. As per our calculations, 123Greetings shipped around 3102 orders per day, up from around 1322 per day the previous corresponding quarter. It's worth noting that 123Greetings Also had appointed an undisclosed investment banker to source capital for its e-commerce business a couple of quarters ago.
