Mobile messaging & VoIP service provider Nimbuzz has tied up with The Mobi Hunter to sell digital and mobile advertising in sub-Saharan Africa, reports allAfrica. The Mobi Hunter is an ad sales operation owned by South African social media platform 2go. Nimbuzz claims to have 2.5 million users in Nigeria and 2 million in Kenya.
The Mobi Hunter also has exclusive rights to all advertising campaigns sold on its parent social media platform 2go, which claims to have over a million users in South Africa.
Recent Nimbuzz developments
– Last month, Nimbuzz had launched an Android call management app called Holaa, that offers standard features like caller ID which displays the callers photo, location & email ID along with the name, phonebook synchronisation with Facebook & Google accounts, missed call alerts, and activity tracker to keep tabs on duration of calls with any particular contact, among others.
