Google has released its annual analysis of the most searched terms, people, movies, actors, top news, and tech devices with Google Year in Search 2014. Trending searches: Elections 2014 was the trending search term on Google India in 2014, followed by FIFA 2014 and iPhone 6. GATE 2015 came in at number four with Narendra Modi coming it at five and IPL 2014 coming in at number six. Bollywood movies also make the list, with Ragini MMS 2 coming in at seventh, Kick at eighth, Jai Ho at ninth and Happy New Year at tenth place. Most searched terms: The most searched for term overall in India this year was IRCTC, with even 'PNR Status' making the list at number five. Online e-commerce websites Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon also make the list at second, fourth and tenth place respectively respectively while the classifieds site OLX was placed at eight place. Cricbuzz which was recently acquired by Times Internet is at the seventh place while Times Of India itself is at the ninth place. Besides this, SBI Online features on the list at the third position while HDFC Netbanking is at the sixth position. Interestingly, Google Translate also found a mention at the ninth place.
