Mobile marketing and communications company Madhouse, has appointed Milind Pathak as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Pathak will join the company from Gurgaon and will report directly to founder and CEO Joshua Maa and Managing Partner of South Asia, Tushar Vyas.
In his new role, Pathak will replace Vinod Thadani, and will be responsible for helping clients integrate Madhouse’s mobile advertising solutions into their marketing strategies. Thadani had left Madhouse to joining Mindshare as its Chief Digital Officer for South Asia, in May this year.
Prior to Madhouse, Pathak was a part of One97 Communications team, where he held various roles like the Global Head of New Business and Head of Mobile and Enterprise Marketing. He had shifted his career to the digital domain in 2005 as the co-CEO and country manager for Buongiorno, and was responsible for setting up the company’s India operations. He currently has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, strategy and P&L management and extensive domain knowledge in the fields of mobile VAS, content, marketing and advertising, mobile CRM and m-commerce.
Pathak has also held the positions of Co-Chair at MEF for the Asia Chapter and juror at the mBillionth Award and is an active speaker at various events by MEF, MMA, IAMAI, ASSOCHAM and FICCI among others.
Madhouse, which launched it’s India operations in 2012, is a joint venture between WPP and Madhouse China and managed by GroupM India. The company has previously handled Rovio’s Angry Birds brand in India, when it had launched here.
