Vikram Upadhyaya launches Green House Ventures (GHV) accelerator
Angel investor and entrepreneur Vikram Upadhyaya has launched a new startup accelerator program named Green House Ventures (GHV) accelerator. The accelerator will help startups get through their starting-up phase and also help prepare for Series A round of funding.
As of now, the venture plans to incubate 25 startups in the next two and half years by offering them a work environment, appropriate resources and funding of up to $100,000 per startup. At the end of the incubation term, the startups will apparently be showcased to Japanese Institutional investors.
House of Marley launches music products on Amazon
High end audio and music products retailer House of Marley has launched its Get Together Bluetooth portable audio system, Liberate XL over ear headphones and Liberate BT Bluetooth portable audio system on Amazon, through a strategic partnership with Imagine Marketing.
The Get Together bluetooth portable audio system can pair with any bluetooth device and is currently priced at Rs 19,990. The Liberate BT portable audio system also connects to other bluetooth enabled devices to play music and is priced at Rs 7,990. The Liberate XL headphones on the other hand are priced at Rs 9,990.
Game based on the film ‘Roar – Tiger of the Sundarbans’ goes live
Shotformats Digital Productions has launched an action adventure game based on the theme of the movie ‘Roar – Tiger of the Sundarbans’ called ‘Roar’. The game claims to offer a virtual experience on the Tigers of Sundarbans and will be freely downloadable from Google Play, iTunes App store and via other major app stores. The app can also be installed offline through one of the 5,000 Biscoot authorized retail stores in India.
The game itself is about players protecting tigers from poachers. Players have to kill the poachers before they start shooting the tigers and kill them. The game will feature HD graphics and make use of motion sensors and finger gestures, to make it more realistic and interactive.
