Digital distribution company Believe Digital has signed up with India regional record label, Aditya Music India for distribution of its music catalogue across international digital platforms, including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer and Pandora among others. Earlier this year, Believe Digital had signed up similar deals with Rajshri Entertainment and Saregama. Aditya Music’s catalogue includes Telugu, Tamil and Kannada film songs along with Carnatic classical songs, devotional and folk songs. Aditya Music claims to currently work with all telecom operators in India, radio stations and online & mobile music services. Its YouTube channel has over 2 lakh subscribers. Believe Digital’s Country Manager for Indian Sub Continent, Vivek Raina mentioned that over the first few months their primary focus will be to ensure that Aditya Music’s catalogue is available across all major digital stores. He also said that Believe Digital will focus of US specific digital stores, because after India regional content gets the most traction from US. Asian markets, like Malaysia and Singapore, will be the next focus area. Believe Digital has a presence across Asia, Europe, US and Latin America. It works with over 50 Indian labels, including Think Music, Ultra, Video Palace, and Simran Music Industries among others, besides Saregama and Rajshri.
