Air India launches mobile app for Android Air India has launched a mobile app which enables users to book airline tickets while on the go, reports IBNLive. The app is currently available only for Android with plans to extend it to iOS in the works. Along with the app, the airline also formally opened an account on Twitter. The app currently enables users to book domestic flights operated by Air India, check and view current and previous bookings, cancel bookings, request wheelchair and check in within 48 hours of departure. The app also offers information regarding baggage, travel information, special offers, special meal requests and contact details. Printvenue.com launches an iOS app Rocket Internet-backed online printing solutions provider Printvenue.com has launched a new iOS app, which it claims works exactly like its website. The app currently has no Android counterpart, with no timeline on if and when it will be released. The app lets users upload pictures they want to imprint of their products and also place orders directly through the app, while keeping them updated on their transactions, via an inbuilt Push notification system. It also has an integrated Facebook login system, letting users sign-in without a separate account. The app is currently available for both iOS devices, the iPhone and the iPad. The German incubator launched Printvenue in India back in 2012.
