E-commerce tie ups: Flipkart-PC Jewellers, Jabong & HomeShop18

Flipkart ties-up with jewellery retailer PC Jewellers E-commerce major Flipkart has entered into a partnership with jewellery retailer PC Jewellers, to offer jewellery on its online marketplace. Flipkart claims it will use deep data analytics and online cataloguing assistance to replicate the offline jewellery shopping experience for its online customers. PC Jewellers will initially focus on selling its brand WearYourShine and going forward, it hopes to work with Flipkart to create an offline-online integration wherein customers can buy online and exchange/return the product offline in PC Jewellers showrooms. It claims to currently have 46 offline stores across 38 cities in the country. It's worth noting that PC Jewellers also sells its products through its own website as well. Jabong partners Alia Bhatt for exclusive collection Online fashion marketplace Jabong has partnered with the Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt to launch an apparel line focused on young girls called ‘Alia Bhatt for Jabong’, that will retail exclusively on its site. This apparel line will include apparel like ripped jeans, leather jackets, casual denims, party wear and shoes among other things Jabong had previously tied up with designer Rohit Bal and fashion brands like River Island, Burton and Miss Selfridge to offer their products over its marketplace. The company mentions that it also plans to introduce more designer collections and global fashion brands this year. HomeShop18 partners with Shilpa Shetty to offer designer sarees TV and online commerce company HomeShop18 has entered into a partnership with the Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra to launch a line of designer sarees called SSK sarees.…
