Zovi.com hires new members in its senior management team

zoviOnline lifestyle apparel and accessory store Zovi.com has appointed several new members in its senior management team. The new additions were made to bring in fresh ideas and products, improve its operational efficiency and scale growth, the company says.

– Anuj Mittal has been appointed as the VP of Womenswear. He has previously worked at Boston Consulting Group, Nestle, Dabur and P&G and has over 11 years of experience across brand management, new product strategy, sales, business strategy, supply chain management and operations and retail replenishment solutions.

– Sushant Junnarkar, an alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad, has been appointed as the new VP of Menswear. He previously worked at Asian Paints and HSBC before starting his own entrepreneurial venture.

-Madhulika Budhiraja, appointed as the VP of International Business has 11 years of experience in the retail and e-commerce fashion industries. Her previous associations include Jabong.com, Samsaara, Satya Paul and Fashionandyou.com.

-Ashish Agarwal, previously associated with Flipkart, Amazon India, Arvind Retail, Landmark Group and Ibibo Group, has been appointed the AVP of Footwear. He is an alumnus of the Footwear Design and Development Institute and has over 9 years of experience in retail.

Last year, in May Zovi.com had reduced its workforce in a bid to cut costs, a few months after it raised $10M in funding and merged with Mumbai based e-commerce venture Inkfruit.

Saket Vaidya quits Webchutney to join Indigo Consulting

indigo consulting logoSaket Vaidya, who had joined Webchutney in 2006, quit his job as the COO-North of the company to join digital agency Indigo Consulting as its regional head (North), reports afaqs. Vaidya will be responsible for growing the company’s clientele base in northern India.

Vaidya has over 12 years of experience in pre-sales, technology, account program management, human resources and social media. During his time at Webchutney, Vaidya broadened the range of solutions offered by the agency while also driving strategic digital marketing solutions. He was appointed as the COO -North of the company back in 2012 when Webchutney reshuffled its leadership team.

Indigo Consulting was previously acquired by Publicis Group in 2012 although the company retained its name and operates as a separate unit under Leo Burnett Group in India.
