OnMobile Global Ltd has informed BSE that Rentala Chandrashekhar has resigned from the directorship of the company. Chandrashekhar informed OnMobile that he is making the decision due to recent policy decisions in his current organization about association of full-time employees with other commercial organizations in board or advisory positions. He was India's former telecommunications secretary and prior to that a former IAS officer of 1975 batch of Andhra Pradesh cadre. He had joined the chairman of National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) country's top intelligence and surveillance agency last year. He is currently the President of NASSCOM. Corrigendum: An earlier version of the story incorrectly referred to Chandrashekhar as the current head of NTRO.
