InvenZoneInvenzone

It is a learning platform that uses data mining to help researchers follow more than 20,000 topics under categories such as science, medicine and technology. Once researchers join, they will get live updates on any work being done in those fields and lets users collaborate on research topics. Founded by Vinay Kumar and Deekshith Marla, the company had launched its beta product in IIT, Bombay and now plans to roll it out to other top-tier universities.

seeksherpaSeekSherpa

SeekSherpa claims to offer the best information about a place one’s travelling to by connecting them with people from the area who will act as guides. The company was founded by Sukhmani Singh and Dhruv Raj Gupta. The service does not seem to have a website as of now, but it says on the Facebook page that you can post your requests on the FB page itself or by mailing MakeMeSherpa@seeksherpa.com.

supplychain

Supply Chain Exchange

It is a SaaS company that is trying to develop, interlink and optimize the supply chain processes, through its marketplace that connects logistics companies and bigger shippers to create a one-stop logistics hub. So if a logistics company want to move goods, they can post it on the website, shipping companies can then pick up this load to fill their unsold space. Shippers can also post any free space that they have on the website, which can then be bough by the logistics company. Overall, it helps improve the efficiencies of an otherwise fractured marketplace.

TheLifeCard

It is an online only loyalty programme targeting small and medium retailers in India. It’s not clear what the exact features offered by the product are, but it offers merchants modules for social media presence management, referral systems and analytics. The team is currently in stealth mode and is developing the product with a few merchants, with an expected launch by the end of the month.
