More exits at India's largest telco Airtel: Sukesh Jain, Chief Marketing Officer of Airtel's enterprise business has quit the company, reports The Economic Times. Jain has been with Airtel for 14 years and has served across all Airtel businesses including Mobility, Broadband & Enterprise in various roles. He was the chief operating officer of Airtel's enterprise business for 11 years, following which he was the business head of Airtel's VAS & content division for about two years. Before Airtel, he's worked at Procall, Dataline & Research Technologies and Eicher. Also exiting from the company is Airtel Delhi's head Rohit Gothi, Tamil Nadu & Kerala head Vikas Singh and Airtel's retail outlets head Mohit Parasher. Airtel's legal and regulatory affairs director Jyothi Pawar has also quit after nearly six years with the company. Earlier in January, PVV Srinivasa Rao, who was heading Airtel's UP East & West circles had also quit to join the confectionary-maker Mars as the head of its pet foods division Mars Petcare while Ramesh Menon, Airtel's circle head for Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, had quit to join Reliance Communications as the head of its GSM services. Manoj Kohli is also stepping down as the managing director and CEO (International) of Bharti Airtel in a fortnight (April 1, 2014) while Airtel India CEO and joint MD Gopal Vittal has been promoted as the Managing Director and CEO (India & South Asia). Airtel Africa CEO Christian de Faria has also been appointed as the Managing Director and CEO (Africa) of Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) BV.
