Advertising conglomerate JWT has appointed Mohit Hira as CEO of Hungama Digital Services, a web services unit it acquired a majority 51% stake in from Hungama Digital Media in 2012, reports Best Media Info. Hira moves to this unit from JWT, where he was appointed Head of Digital Operations last year, while at the same time leading the Airtel account at JWT, one of the companys key accounts. In his new role, Hira will continue to oversee both the digital business of JWT, as well as Hungama Digital Services. Note that Hira had joined JWT India in December 2012 as senior vice president and regional business director, then looking primarily at the Airtel account. Prior to joining JWT, Hira was with NIIT, initially as President of e-Learning, and then as CMO for Career Building Solutions. Prior to that, he was with Times Internet Ltd, heading Marketing. He has also been the Brand Head for Times Foundation, Navbharat Times and The Economic Times, Delhi. Hira is on twitter as @mohitoz
