Relevant e-solutions Pvt Ltd which operates the gift recommendation engine Giveter and the newly launched social fashion platform Roposo has raised seed funding of less than $500,000 from Anand Lunia's India Quotient, Pearl Uppal & Gaurav Kachru's 5ideas Startup Superfuel and Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, reports TechCircle. The company plans to use the investment raised for building its technology, marketing its offerings and for hiring. Launched in August 2012, Giveter allows users to discover gifts based on age, relationship (husband, wife, parents, siblings, boyfriend, girlfriend, friends and colleagues among others), occasion (anniversary, birthday, wedding, farewell, valentines day and others), recipient's personality (adventurous, creative, outgoing, filmy, traveler, geeky, book lover and others), the user's mood (funky, utility, romantic, precious, personalized, luxury and others) and price range. It claims to offer more than 10,000 gift ideas from more 40 online shops which includes Flipkart, Ferns & Petals, Hitplay, CountryFlora, Fabfurnish, Caratlane, Happily Unmarried, Healthkart, Bewakoof, Zansaar, Lenskart and Zivame among others. The company earns revenues from lead generation and claims to clock 300,000 visitors on monthly basis. Roposo is a social recommendation platform focused on the fashion category. It allows users discover fashion products based on their individual preferences.
