TaxiForSure To Offer Airport Transfers For GoIbibo Customers

Serendipity Infolabs operated online cab booking service TaxiForSure has partnered with online travel site Goibibo  to offer airport transfers to its customers in Bangalore and New Delhi, with plans to subsequently extend the service to Chennai. As part of the deal, TaxiForSure will be offering cab booking services to travelers making flight bookings through Goibibo. The financial details of the partnership and additional cost if any to customers are not clear. To book a cab, user need to click on the checkbox for booking a cab along with their tickets on Goibibo. TaxiForSure will then get in touch with the users to take the transaction forward. When we checked Goibibo's website, we noticed that Goibibo seems to offer cab services within and outside majority of the Indian cities. Its not clear if Goibibo is offering this service with TaxiForSure partnership or it has partnered with some other player. In June 2013, TaxiForSure had raised first round of funding from its existing seed investors, Accel Partners, Helion Venture Partnersand Blume Ventures increasing its funding to $4 million so far. In November 2012, Olacabs had partnered with online travel agent MakeMyTrip to offer car rentals for local and outstation travel in Mumbai, Bangalore & Delhi-NCR. Apart from car rentals, Olacabs was also supposed to offer pick and drop to the airport while booking on MakeMyTrip and offer a 10% discount on the taxi fare.
