Times Internet’s mobile subsidiary Times Mobile Limited has inked a tie-up to offer exclusive content of Kannada film star Puneeth Rajkumar across its services like Follo, GreetZAP and others.

The company said that Follo users will now get access to exclusive Puneeth Rajkumar content like his personal pictures, voice blogs, autographed memorabilia and others while GreetZAP users will be able to send voice greetings (probably pre-recorded messages) to others in Puneeth Rajkumar’s voice.

Follo is a mobile celebrity alert service which allows users to follow their favorite celebrity and receive content like news, exclusive quotes, celeb gossip, trade news, event photos, high quality wallpapers, video interviews and others. The service is available on a subscription basis for Airtel, BSNL, Loop Mobile and Tata DoCoMo subscribers and a pay per use basis for Airtel, BSNL, Uninor and Vodafone subscribers. It is available on SMS, IVR, USSD and WAP platforms depending on the operator. Update: Times Internet has informed that Loop Mobile is no longer a content partner for Follo.

On the other hand, GreetZAP is a mobile greeting service which allows users to send mobile greetings, voice greetings, voice cards, music greetings and others. Its currently available on iOS, Android and Java. It will be interesting to see if the company offer these celebrity voices an in-app purchase for users, similar to how Bubblemotion does it on its Bubbly voice messaging service.
