Catapooolt: Catapooolt is a crowd funding platform focused for movies, music and entertainment projects that attempts to connect Asian film and entertainment industry with non residents with funds. The platform was launched in March 2013 in partnership with the Hong Kong International Film Festival’s finance forum.
When we checked the website, we noticed that it is not still functional.
iLeathergraph: iLeathergraph is a leather products brand which has both online and offline stores that specialise in transcribing the customer identity, autograph or monogram designs on the products such as wallets, phone covers, bags, key chains, among others. When we checked the website, we noticed that customers can upload the signature or monogram through the website. However, the products will be dispatched only after 10-14 days. At the time of writing this story, the website did not allow for check out and payment.
Perspective.ly: Perspective.ly is a news recommendation platform that can be included as pluggin by publishers on their website. The company intends to monetize this platform targeted at online publishers, blogs and media houses through advertising. Apparently, the company intends to increase user engagement and trust of publishers by providing contextual recommendations and not just personalized content. However, it is not clear what kind of personalized content will be provided to readers. They also have plans for a mobile application. When we checked, we could not find the website of the company.
Trelta: Trelta has developed a web based Electronic Medical Record (EMR) desktop app for doctors to keep track of their patients’ history, appointments, follow ups, among others connecting doctors, patients, laboratories and pharmacies. The company also soon plans to launch a mobile app.
Recent investments by VentureNursery: In June 2013, Emprenure Labs which operates the online recruitment solutions provider InterviewMaster had raised undisclosed amount of funding from the angel-backed startup accelerator VentureNursery.
Corrigendum: The earlier error in the website link and logo of Catapooolt have been rectified.
