UntitledMcCann Worldgroup India, a part of the Interpublic Group has acquired a majority stake in End to End Marketing Solutions, a Bangalore based database marketing company, reports The Economic Times. The financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.

This is McCann’s first acquisition in India after 5 years. We believe this acquisition would further consolidate Interpublic Group’s position in India. McCann’s existing clientele in India include Aircel, Britannia, Cocoa Cola, Dabur, Johnson & Johnson, among others. It appears that McCann could be looking to tap on End to End’s data services arm – Infonautix.

End to End Marketing Solutions provides different types of marketing services including Data Services, TeleServices, Channel Marketing, Creative Services, Fulfilment Services and Client servicing. Founded in 1997 by P.N.Shanavas, the company is headquartered in Bangalore, with branches in Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi. It’s clientele include Microsoft, Intel, HP, Coffee Day, among others.

Interpublic Group’s last acquisition was in March 2013. IPG Mediabrands, the media holding group of Interpublic group acquired the digital marketing agency Interactive Avenues for an undisclosed amount. Following this acquisition, Interactive Avenues had become a part of IPG Mediabrands’ Mediabrands Audience Platform (MAP).

In March 2013, Publicis Groupe, the French advertising and public relations company, acquired Convonix for an undisclosed amount.

In January 2013, TBWA, advertising agency owned by Omnicon acquired Indian digital agency group Magnon. The acquisition includes Magnon Solutions, the digital agency and Magnon International, digital outsourcing agency. 

In August 2012, Dentsu, Japanese advertising company acquired a 51% stake in Indian advertising agency, Taproot India

In August 2012, Aegic Group plc,  Media and digital communications group entered into an agreement to acquire Communication 2, a digital performance marketing and search agency.

In June 2012, Global advertising major WPP Group had also recently acquired a majority 51% stake in Hungama Digital Services Private Limited via its wholly owned agency JWT Singapore.

In March 2012, Ad2c, a Dentsu & NTT Docomo JV acquired Mobimasta.
