Eventifier Raises $500K From Accel Partners & Kae Capital

Bangalore-based event archiving platform Eventifier has raised a $500,000 seed investment from Accel Partners and existing investor Kae Capital. Prior to this, the company had raised an undisclosed amount of investment from Kae Capital and the Startup Centre in April 2013. It plans to use the investment raised for hiring data scientists and strengthen its sales and marketing team, as indicated by a TechCrunch report. Started in June 2012 by Jazeel Badur Ferry, Nasim Zeeshan and Mohammed Saud, Eventifier allows event organizers to archive event related content like photos, videos, slides, tweets and conversations from the web to a dedicated events page. It aggregates these content using hashtags and keywords and also offers the ability to restrict the aggregation to a specific time period. Among the services supported include Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, Slideshare and others. It offers this service through two different plans - a basic plan priced at $499 per event per year and a professional plan priced at $1999 per event per year. The basic plan provides only admin access for event organizers to curate the content being aggregated while the professional plan provides additional features like photo slideshows, exporting tweets, private event option and more integrations like Eventbrite and Facebook Albums. There is a free trial of 15 days on these plans. It also has a white label solution for event organizers which offers features like custom domain, advanced embed options, Google Analytics integration and the ability to highlight top tweets and photos from the event.
