Industry Moves: Hungama Digital, What’s-On-India, Cheil Worldwide, DGM India

Niloufer Dundh, Head – Integrated Media at Hungama Digital Media Entertainment, has put down her papers, reports India Digital Review. She is currently serving her notice period. It’s not clear where she will be heading next.

At Hungama Digital, she was responsible for sales function across media, including television, radio, out of home, print and digital. Hungama has not yet announced her replacement, however, according to the report, Siddhartha Roy, Chief Operating Officer for consumer business and allied services, Hungama, will be working with Dundh’s team until a replacement is announced.

Prior to joining Hungama, Dundh worked with Radio Mirchi, Apex Publishing, India.com, and Swiss Air.


What’s-On-India, a TV search and Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) technology company, has appointed Sugato Banerji as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), reports Indiantelevision.com. The company informed that under him, What’s on India will be looking to expand its operations in International markets.

Prior to joining What’s on India, Banerji worked with Bharti Telemedia Ltd (Airtel) as their Chief Marketing Officer, DTH & Media. He has also worked with  Visa, Standard Chartered Bank, and Aptech Internet Ltd.


Cheil Worldwide SW Asia, an advertising agency, has appointed Hari Krishnan as its Chief Operating Officer. He will start his role from January 2013 and will be responsible to lead Cheil Worldwide SW Asia’s growth.

Krishnan joins from WPP where he was Head, Global Team Ford- a consortium of JWT, Mindshare and Wunderman. He has also worked at JWT India, Grey Worldwide, Bates India, Ogilvy & Mather, Clarion and Anthem. At JWT India, he was Executive Business Director, PepsiCo Beverages.


DGM India has announced the appointment of Himanshu Nagrecha as the National Sales Head for all its businesses. At DGM India, Himanshu would be responsible for Sales of all products & offerings.

DGM India recently launched dgMatix in July 2012. In 2013, DGM plans to scale up its performance & brand advertising business and foray into selected overseas markets.

Prior to joining DGM India, Nagrecha worked at Mediamind where he was the Vice President-Sales, India and MENA regions. Apart from that, he has also worked with Yahoo! India Pvt. Ltd., Hindustan Times, Tata Infomedia, among others.
