Aditya Sinha, editor-in-chief of DNA, has resigned from his position effective immediately, reports mxmindia. Sinha, in a tweet, informed that he resigned to focus on writing novels. Prior to joining DNA in 2010, Sinha worked at The New Indian Express. The move comes amidst the Zee group controversy where he defended Zee in his last column as an editor-in-chief on DNA. Recently, K U Rao, former CEO, Diligent Media Group’s daily newspaper DNA, exited the company and joined Siti Cable, the MSO of the Essel Group. Bhaskar Das, joined Essel Group as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). **** General Atlantic LLC, a private equity firm, has appointed Sandeep Naik as a managing director and head of the firm’s Mumbai office, reports VCCircle. He will be responsible for General Atlantic's investment advisory activity in India. Prior to joining General Atlantic, Naik worked at Apax Partners India. He has also worked with Medtronics as marketing manager. Naik has also co-founded Infrascan, a medical device company that detects brain hematomas. **** Sportskeeda.com, an online sports content portal, has appointed Agnel Jude Bankien as VP Sales and Marketing. He will be responsible for marketing and ad sales strategies at Sportskeeda. Prior to joining Sportskeeda, Bankien worked at the international consortium that manages the Bengaluru International Airport as a senior manager of advertising and marketing. He has also worked at Ogilvy as account director, Orchard Advertising as brand associate, and McCann Erickson as a project manager.
