HCL Learning, the education and talent development division of HCL Infosystems, has launched MyEduWorld, an interactive learning app that includes school curriculum in digital format. The MyEduWorld is available in two formats — as a MyEduWorld tablet and MyEduWorld Drive for PCs and Laptops on Windows platform which comes pre-loaded with content.

MyEduWorld will provide school curriculum books from KG to Standard 12 in digital format. At the time of writing this article, it’s not clear whether they provide the different school curriculum books based on boards such as state boards and central boards. Apart from that, the app will be equipped with a quiz engine, educational applications, games, educational videos and ebooks, according to the company. MyEduWorld also offers 2D-3D animations, real-life examples, step-by-step illustrations and claims to offer more than 25,000 solved examples and 15,000 quizzes. It also has educational applications like problem solver, online encyclopedia, live-videos etc., available free of charge. Students and parents can keep a track of their study analysis over reports.

MyEduWorld Drive: MyEduWorld Drive, a USB drive, is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It is available in two versions: 8GB for grade 1-5 & grade 6-7 and a 16GB version for grade 8-10. Tablet: MyEduWorld for tablets is currently available in U1 and X1 models running on Android (OS 2.3 and 4.0) and will soon be available on other HCL ME Tablets as well. The tablet will be priced at Rs 9,999. At the time of writing this article, it’s not clear whether the tablets will also be pre-bundled with apps like BookMyShow, Clear Trip, Hungama, Money Control. From the looks of it, it appears that HCL has re-launched their previous tablets with new school curriculum content. We have contacted HCL and would update the post once we get more on this.
