Atmosphere, a luxury brand from the BSE-listed home textile major Himatsingka Seide, has launched an e-commerce store at AtmosphereDirect.com, reports Business Standard. This was also announced by the company in its annual general meeting held on August 25, 2012, as indicated by a BSE filing. The brand currently claims to have 14 offline stores across India, Singapore and UAE. Offerings: The online store currently offers merchandise from various textile categories including furnishing products like drapery, upholstery, embroidery, velvets and so on; bed linen products like pillows, pillow covers, duvet covers, bed sheets and so on; and accessories like decorative pillows among others. When we checked, we noticed that the site allowed users to filter results based on size, color, style, composition and design type. It also features a keyword-based search box which allows one to search for their preferred product. Interestingly, we observed that the site has minimum order limit of Rs 7,500 or $150 with an exception of fabrics where there is a minimum limit of 5 metres. Moodboard: The site also offers a feature called Moodboard, which essentially works like a wishlist, allowing users to add products to a specific list. What's interesting is that the site allows users to create Pinterest-like boards and allows users to add products on any specific board of their preference. We noticed that the site also allows users to export this list via pdf or email or print the list. Alternatively, it also allows users to share this wish list on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.…
