Amrita Gangotra, Director-IT & CIO (India & South Asia) at Bharti Airtel has resigned from the company, reports Light Reading India. It's not entirely clear where Gangotra will be headed next but according to the report, she hinted at joining Vodafone UK. Gangotra joined Bharti Airtel in November 2002 and was responsible for strategizing, planning and ensuring implementation of IT projects for all lines of business unit including mobile, telemedia and DTH. Prior to joining Bharti Airtel, she worked with HCL Comnet Ltd. **** Arnab Mitra, National Director- Digital, Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG), has resigned from the company, reports India Digital Review. Mitra is currently serving his notice period till the end of December 2012. According to the report, Mitra will be launching his own venture. Prior to joining SMG, Mitra worked with MediaContacts, a Havas Digital Company, as a regional director - South Asia. He has also worked with Ignitee (formerly know as Connecturf Pvt.
