The site is managed by Net Distribution, which claims to be the official online retailer of Timex and also manages online stores for Walt Disney IndiaFastrack, Tata McGraw Hill and Indiamags among others.

Product offerings: The web store offers both Men’s and Women’s watches from various collections in its catalog. This includes men’s watch collections like Sports Luxury, Expedition, Chronograph, Retrograde, Fashion, Aura, and Empera among others and women’s watch collections like the Crystal Collection, Aura, Empera, Sports, Fashion, E-Class among others. The company claims to offer more than 250 products through this web store.

Web Store: On the homepage, Timex showcases select watches from its collection in two different tabbed sliders. The first slider allows one to browse through newly launched watches, the most viewed watches and the most purchased watches while the second slider allows one to browse through Men’s watches, women’s watches and unisex watches.

Each watch listing on the homepage offers a ‘quick view’ mode which allows one to browse through key features of the watch and share the watch listing via email or on Facebook and Twitter. It also features a small favorite button to allow users add that specific watch to their wishlist.

One can also head over to any specific watch collection, price range or watch style through the navigation bar or use the keyword-based search box to search for their preferred watch. Following this, one can further filter down the listings on any category based on the price range, gender, dial color and strap color.

The site also has a dedicated offers section, although the portal didn’t have any offers listed at the time of writing this article.

Two Different Stores? Interestingly, the site promotes its Helix webstore on the homepage and the Helix Webstore promotes the Timex webstore on its homepage.

We wonder why Timex continues to maintain two different stores for its watches, instead of keeping a single destination and integrating the Helix brand within its newly launched web store.However, the company does note that customers can use the same account credentials across both the online stores.

Payment options: Among the payment options offered by the portal include Credit card, Debit card and NetBanking, however it doesn’t seem to support Cash on Delivery (CoD) payment mode yet. The company has tied up with Times Of Money’s* DirecPay to offer these payment modes. The portal currently offers free shipping on all its products and claims to deliver products in 7 business days.

Other Players: Titan’s Fastrack has a web store which allows users to browse and purchase watches from their catalog. Besides this, majority of the e-commerce stores including Myntra, Flipkart, Jabong and Yebhi offer watches across multiple brands.
