Careers360 Launches Study Abroad Portal

Careers360, a career counselor brand owned by Pathfinder publishing, has launched a new portal at studyabroad.careers360.com for students who want to abroad abroad. The company claims that the portal would answer the how, why, when,where, what for students who want to study abroad. Portal: Students can register on the website with their email address or via Facebook connect. The portal provides basic guides on subjects like Application advisory, life abroad, finances and financial help. It also provides country specific 'study abroad' guides including guides for popular educational destinations such as UK, the USA, Australia, Singapore, among others. The country guide features sections ranging from why to study in a specific country to Visa applications and guidelines. It also features the list of universities popular among Indian students in a specific country. Careers360 informed MediaNama that all the articles on the website are tailor made for the portal, as they also publish a magazine and an almanac. Apart from that, the portal highlights information about tests that needs to be taken for education in foreign countries such as IELTS (International English Language Testing System), TOEFL, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, among others. It also features scholarship programs available for countries such as UK, USA, Australia, among others. The portal also hosts a discussion forum where students can engage with other aspirants. Monetization: Currently, the portal offers counseling packages on the website starting from Rs 1299, while a full fledged package costs Rs. 9,999.
