Web18 FY12 Revenue Up 14% To Rs 99.4 Cr; HomeShop18 Up 26% To Rs 89.6Cr; Metrics

Web18 which includes Network18's content operations and the movie ticketing site Bookmyshow.com, has reported revenues of Rs 99.4 crores for the year ended March 31, 2012 (FY12), a 14.38% growth from Rs 86.9 crore in FY11. Earlier in the day, we had reported that BookMyShow has recorded revenues of Rs 29.47 crore for FY12, so this indicates that the company's content operations recorded revenues of Rs 69.93 crore, marginally down 1.24% from Rs 70.81 crore in FY11. This includes revenues from In.com, IBNLive.com, Moneycontrol.com and Firstpost.com. Web18 Metrics The group recorded over 30.8 million unique visits across all their sites and mobile apps for the year ending December 2011, according to Comscore metrics. In comparison, the group had recorded 27.4 million in December 2011 and 23.9 million in December 2010. - In.com recorded 25.1 million unique monthly visitors, as of December 2011. This includes traffic to IBNLive.in.com, Cricketnext.in.com and other portals hosted on In.com. IBNLive.com (or IBNLive.in.com) recorded 4.3 million unique monthly visitors, as of December 2011. - Moneycontrol.com recorded 5.1 million unique monthly visitors, as of December 2011, which has now increased to 8 million unique monthly visitors, as of May 2012. The company currently offers a message board called M3 for traders, a live portfolio tracker for consumers, a subscription-based service for traders called PowerYourTrade, and a portal for commodity traders called commoditiescontrol.com. - Firstpost.com which launched in May 2011, has recorded 2.7 million unique monthly visitors, as of December 2011. - Network18 mobile apps recorded an average of over 13 million visits and 110 million page…
